Dorothy Nafus Morrison

American author, mainly of children's novels. Born in Iowa. She worked as a music teacher before turning to writing books in the 1960s. Her children's books include three horse stories. She also wrote biographies, including those of historical figures who were important to the Woman's Rights and Indian Rights movements.
